“Nice Breezy Day”

Driving Down PCH and I couldn’t believe how clear it was out. It was so beautiful. The palm trees, the sailboats, and PCH – it’s all the reason why I live here in Socal. I don’t want to live anywhere else!

“A Mystic Forest”

All of a sudden the Fog flew into Mariposa Grove at Yosemite National Park. It looked kinda haunted all around!

“Sunset at the Dome”

Here is an Image that I took using HDR three different exposures. It was incredibly hard to keep everything even so I needed to take multiple exposures to balance it out. It was just so gorgeous out, it had to be captured!

“Star Sweep of Half Dome”

A failed attempt at a star sweep over half dome. I like the idea just not exactly the way I hoped it would turn out. Will attempt tomorrow night. It needs to be set up differently, and not in front of the lampost, and much longer sweep. Looks kinda cool though.

“The Gas Station from Hell”

Las Virgines road by Pepperdine over looking PCH at night. I noticed that the SHELL station sign has a missing “S” in it which now just reads “HELL” station. Thought it was funny.

“Shop til you drop”

From a creative standpoint this picture doesn’t have any. However, I was trying to take a good exposure on my CAMERA phone with proper lighting and white balance. For the times something interesting does come up, and I do not have my P&S or my SLR, I want to be able to take a correct exposure on my camera phone. I hope I at least accomplished that here.

“The leaves”

Ran to the bank and noticed the colors on the trees just before sundown! Living in SoCal, we hardly get the full range of Orange, Reds, and Yellows, but this caught my eye. It looks pretty cool in black and white but there is something about fall colors.
